round robin proxy with 10 DHCP ips.
modify the userAgent for your requests
try running things through TOR.

4. aw - June 6, 2006

I would suggest adding ways to search theknot.com and theweddingchannel.com for wedding websites and/or registries.

5. JoeLite - June 8, 2006

Surprised to see MySpace disappear from the search. The thing is, I was able to find some old friends via your MySpace search, that are not listed when I search them in MySpace! Why is that?

6. Chris - June 10, 2006

You could do searches for Yelp users as well (here’s the URL as I see it in the address bar)
http://www.yelp.com/member_search_results?context=&default_action=search&member_search=name+of+person&action_search=Search

7. Jason Schramm - June 29, 2006

You could use AJAX to do the searches, grabbing the actual page content.

The Facebook search is kinda pointless, since you have to be logged in to do that.

And if you really want to stalk someone, shouldn’t a address / phonebook / email search be included. Something like Superpages.com or local.google.com. Could you add a location search – so we could add a city or a state or a zip code. There are a lot of Chad Smith’s out there. But only 2 in Chattanooga, TN. If you could add the location or general area – that would help narrow down the search results.

Hello,

We are interested in helping you sell your available ad space on your website and/or your clients’ websites. I would appreciate it if a company representative contacted me by e-mail, or phone so we can further discuss working together to sell your ad inventory.

For a current list of our Publishers, simply go to http://home.hyperbidder.com/HYWeb/RegionMainPageServlet?cd=1

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi someone mentioned your site to me at OSCON, but I can’t remember who. I like the idea of a people search although I don’t usually consider myself a “stalker”. But okay I will admit to the occasional googling of people : ). I think searching Flickr pictures would be a cool addition…

11. James Gillmore - December 14, 2006

proxy switching…make sure you have some good software for that. holla at me, in general, Jared, if you need any online research done. I do marketing, but a lot of research and get other people to do the actually marketing footwork.

The Stalkerati might need some background info first before they start stalking the wrong people. Imagine stalking the FBI or …. yeeks.

My God, this page rose me from slumber at three in the morning. Kick ass page! I never thought my High School dream was so close. And a little suggestion, add YouTube and Wikipedia, one can find really creepy stuff in there…

20. Gaucho_Don - June 14, 2007

Can’t you fix the myspace issue by just creating a stalkarati myspace page/login and having your server use that to run the seach?

the stalkarati thing seems like a cool idea, but you have a ways to go.

21. Jason - June 17, 2007

Nice web site.!!!
Very creative and unique idea. Hope some of bugs can be fixed.

I am currently in discussions to build something very similar to what you have with Stalkerati, but I believe there is a huge revenue opportunity you are missing out on.

I would like to discuss my ideas with you at your earliest convenience. Remember- I AM currently exploring my options with this, but if we can work together rather than against each other, I believe we can profit mutually!

23. sean - June 27, 2007

You need to put something in so you can limit that search to specific states & cities. People with common names give you a million irrelevant hits
