And the smoke clears… May 31, 2006
Posted by Jared Kim in General.trackback
After having the server go down, up, down, up, well… you get the idea, the smoke of the Digg effect has now cleared. Quick breakdown of how the site did today:
- 23,413 unique visitors
- 64,846 pageviews
- ~34,000 searches
I think it went pretty well today when you factor in the 3-4 hours of downtime earlier in the day.
The site was linked to from quite a few sites today:
- Digg
- John Battelle's Searchblog
- del.icio.us frontpage & popular page
- VH1 Best Week Ever
- Fark Tech links
I'll update this post if I find more. Thanks to all who are helping spread the word about Stalkerati!
[...] Over at the Stalkerati blog I wrote a little round-up about the whole "digg-effect" experience and posted some interesting traffic numbers. [...]
Take a look at stalkerati.de, quite a copycat…

I read about you in The Record of Hackensack, NJ on June 14, 2007.
Your cousin Annie Kim from Palisades Park is giving everyone in Cliffside Park and Fort Lee, NJ a copy of today’s paper.
How many other newspapers have the story? I told Annie she can bring all the papers she wants no matter how ugly your picture is. Annie is much better looking than you. Do become famous, please.
I love you, Annie.
Best wishes,

Dude, your site has been down for like three weeks now. Get it back up or call it quits, seriously.
